Morningstar by ClintCearley Morningstar by ClintCearley
I was inspired to do this personal piece based on the character Morningstar while reading Mists of Everness by John C. Wright. Morningstar is a fallen archangel who now commands legions of dark forces and is lord of Acheron in the realm of the Dreaming.
I imagined that at the time of his fall his halo and wings turned black and the tears he wept at being banished from heaven were permanently stained into his porcelain skin which has also began to crack due to his inner corruption.

Little do you and millions of others NOT know is there is a REAL fallen angel out there.  His name is Lucifer, or Satan.

As a Christian I am very aware of the existence of Satan (who was not an angel as commonly believed but a cherub). Morningstar is just a fictional character which uses one of the monikers of Satan to help tie into recognized history and tales for added reading interest.
